Former Disney Star Skai Jackson Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery

 Skai Jackson, the 22-year-old actress familiar for her character on the Disney Channel show ‘Jessie’ , was apprehend on August 8 at Universal Studios, as stated by a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

 

jurisdictions were called to Universal Studios after security personnel detained Jackson, the spokesperson established to *PEOPLE*. Deputies reviewing observation footage allege that it shows Jackson pushing the sufferer.

 

The sheriff's department noted that no armaments were involved, and there were no visible offence reported. Jackson was taken to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station and was released a few hours later.

 

A spokesperson for Jackson was not promptly obtainable for comment  and the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office has not yet responded to requests for additional details. As a result, it remains unclear whether Jackson has been officially charged in alliance with the occurrence.

 

Jackson is best known for her character as Zuri Ross on ‘Jessie’ and its spin-off ‘Bunk'd’. In 2019, she issued  a book titled ‘Reach for the Skai : How to Inspire, Empower and Clapback’ and engaged in ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in 2020.
