Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert
recently revealed a ’90s-era tattoo in an Instagram photo shared by Ginger
Gaetz, the wife of Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz. The photo, featuring Boebert
in a leopard-print bikini, showcased a thorn-patterned tattoo running along the
right side of her torso.
“We love confident, healthy,
patriotic women like Lauren,” Gaetz captioned the image, which highlighted
Boebert’s bold ink, reminiscent of the tribal designs popular in the 1990s.
The timing of the photo is
unclear, but it is part of a series of revealing images of conservative women
that Ginger Gaetz has posted. This comes after a viral 2016 video featuring
Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna in a MAGA swimsuit resurfaced earlier this week.
Boebert, 35, addressed the
attention surrounding these images, unapologetically embracing her past. “I’m confirming
that I have indeed worn swimsuits, and you can tell I am biologically a woman,”
she tweeted, using the opportunity to criticize Democrats for their focus on
her old photos and for their stance on transgender rights.
“There are better things to do
with your time than digging up modeling photos of me from almost a decade ago,”
she added on X. “The left is trying to make this an issue, yet they can’t
define a woman. Very low IQ behavior. Get over it.”
Ginger Gaetz has continued to
share similar photos of other conservative women, including political analyst
Erin Elmore and Manhattan Republican Party Chair Andrea Catsimatidis.
