Maxie Solters, a third-generation entertainment publicist who followed in her family's footsteps, dies at 37.

Maxie Solters, a third-generation entertainment advertiser who carried on her family's legacy in the industry, passed away suddenly in Los Angeles on Thursday at the age of 37.

The declaration was made by Scoop Marketing, the company founded by her father, Larry Solters. The statement did not reveal the cause of death but noted that it was unpredicted.

Born on March 22, 1987, in Sherman Oaks, Maxie joined Scoop Marketing in 2012, acting for clients such as the Hollywood Bowl, the Kia Forum, and the Music Forward Foundation. Scoop's roster also embraces major acts like the Eagles, John Mayer & Dead & Company. Her grandfather, Lee Solters, a renowned advertiser, handled  limelight for legends like Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Jackson until his passing in 2009.

Before entering the world of limelight, Maxie earned a theater degree from the University of Southern California and worked in film & television casting in Los Angeles. She  was also a member of SAG,  acting in theater productions and a comedy web series that she created and produced.

Beyond her work in divertissement, Maxie was an activist who carried organizations like One Billion Rising and V-Day, committed to ending violence against women. In Scoop’s statement, they described her as someone whose “resolveing optimism and kind heart touched the lives of many,” leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Maxie is survived by her father, Larry, and his partner Carol Greenhut; her mother, Debra Graff; and her longtime partner, Dim Dobrin.
